Historic Sugartown Happy Hour – February 28th
Miss the Biergartens? We do! While we wait for warm summer evenings to return, let’s get together for a Pop-Up Happy Hour! Join us as Historic Sugartown celebrates the release of another round of Locust Lane Craft Brewery‘s Sugartown Simcoe IPA! A portion of the evening’s proceeds will support Historic Sugartown! And we can all toast to another fun summer of community Biergartens at Historic Sugartown!
Mardi Gras Murder Mystery – March 1st
Join us at the Conshohocken Free Library for our Mardi Gras Murder Mystery event. This evening will be catered by Conshohocken restaurants and is BYOB. Gather friends and join us as we celebrate Mardi Gras. Tickets are available at the Conshohocken Free Library. Each ticket is $60 and tickets are limited.
First Annual Beer & Bacon Festival – March 2nd
Grain’s All-Inclusive Bacon & Craft Beer Festival is making it’s way to Kennett Square! $39 admission includes five bacon-inspired dishes, unlimited drafts from multiple breweries, and live music! Grab your friends and enjoy an afternoon on the rooftop with all things beer and bacon!
190th Philadelphia Flower Show – March 2nd-10th
The 190th PHS Philadelphia Flower Show will pay tribute to the enormous impact of flowers on our lives. From the first blooms of spring in your home garden to the expansive fields that fuel whole economies, flowers influence how we feel, think and act in small and global ways. Exhibits will take a holistic approach to the theme with sweeping landscapes and artful interpretations that inspire, convey emotions, examine fragrance and color and convey a universal language.
All 4 Paws Meet & Greet at Pet Valu in Frazer – March 2nd
Our Meet & Greets are a great way to get to know us, meet some of our dogs, and ask questions face to face. While we do not process adoptions at these events, approved adopters are able to meet potential forever family members and – if a fit with the whole family – bring them home at an adoption appointment later on that same day!
Donut, Pizza & Wine Pairings at Chaddsford Winery – March 2nd-3rd
Join us for the second year of this out-of-the-box program featuring the trendiest, tastiest foods: donuts & pizza! Home and Garden Tour at Stoneleigh: A Natural Garden – March 9th
Historic architecture, towering trees, and evolving native plant landscapes are highlighted in this guided exploration of Stoneleigh in Villanova. We’ll also tour the Main House, which is generally closed to visitors, so don’t miss this chance to get a peek inside the former home of three generations of the Haas family.
Robotics Workshop for Kids at American Helicopter Museum – March 9th
This all-day Robotics Workshop is for boys and girls ages 9 through 13. The cost is $85.00 per child, which includes a robot kit that the participants will build, program and take home.
Book Restoration Workshop at Historic Sugartown – March 9th
Learn basic book repair techniques, and in the process learn about the book’s components and traditional hand-bookbinding methods in Historic Sugartown’s Bindery! Participants will dissect a book and reassemble it. Deconstruct a book by detaching the covers and spine, removing the sewing, and disassembling the text. Then reconstruct the book by performing page repair, re-sewing the text and re-hinging the covers and spine. The book, materials, and supplies are provided.
Results of the 2018 Paranormal Tours of Paoli Battlefield – March 11th
Do you think the battlefield is haunted? Come out for our lecture and presentation and see for yourself that some things that happen there defy easy explanation. Join us on Monday, March 11, 2019 as we welcome back our paranormal expert, Laurie Hull and Malvern Paranormal’s Kelly Schmitt. Laurie and Kelly will reveal the results from our paranormal tours of the Paoli Battlefield which took place in June and October of 2018.
