Preserve those Memories with a stop at The Photography Center

Photo Restoration

PhotoCtr_logoIn this Digital Age, you may ask what The Photography Center can do for you? The answer is simple — Way More than you might have imagined!

As one of the ‘Last Independent Camera Stores on the Main Line’, The Photography Center has maintained their reputation by not only providing top of the line products, but also ‘focusing’ on customer service – which is a rarity these days. When you’re a Local Family-run Business, you totally get it — your customers’ satisfaction IS Job #1. And Pat Tracz, Owner and President of The Photography Center, has that down …well….pat! Her parents started the business in 1970 and she has carried it on, and still going strong – even through the Digital Age.

For all you Shutter Bugs, Old School and Techno, in need of accessories, this is a ‘must stop-n-shop’ for filters, lenses, batteries, etc. And if you’re new to the Photog game but can’t find room in your budget for a new camera — check out The Photography Center for a gently used one.

Today’s digital cameras are fabulous – the clarity of the shots and the ease of downloading your favorites to your PC and then off to Social Media sites is phenomenal – instant gratification to the Nth degree! Those family vacation pics hold such great memories that you want to dash off a few framed copies to the Grandparents as a gift. But your home printer is black and white …not to worry, you can send your digital files to The Photography Center via the Internet and then pick up the finished product OR have them sent via snail mail! What could be simpler?

And if you just can’t get enough, they offer the option of Digital Transfers! Your Snappy Shots personalized on a calendar, or a shirt, hat, mug, even sports gear. The possibilities are endless and make for a special gift that will be remembered always. And don’t forget those Photo Holiday Cards – they have a great assortment, so check it out.

How about those fabulous old family photos that have been stuck in a storage box for ages because they are cracked, stained and/or faded? They’re a piece of your History and should be passed on to the next generation, but you thought they were beyond repair and were sadly considering disposing of them. Well think again, my Friends — Pat is the David Copperfield of Photo Restoration! Her skill is unsurpassed and has gained her the reputation of the ultimate magician — she will keep your heritage going strong by not only restoring those old photos but then duplicating them so everyone can have a piece of that History.

For all you Moms and Dads that save every finger painting and drawing your kiddos create, here’s a brilliant idea hatched by Pat for one of her customers. When you run out of wall space or acreage on the refrigerator door, which is an unavoidable reality, bring them in to The Photography Center to be scanned and bound in an album!  What better way to preserve the joys of childhood (…and eventually embarrass the heck out of those kids down the road …when the dating process starts).

Scrapbooking has become a passion for many, and The Photography Center even has that base covered too. As well as offering all the supplies you need to become a Savvy Scrapper, they offer in-store classes for you, or better yet – you and your Besties. Great idea for a Girls Night Out or Birthday Party!

The way we see it, The Photography Center is so much more than a ‘Camera Store’ – it’s about preserving Memories. Memories that come alive when you look at that print, or shirt, or mug …or scrapbook. Pat’s best advice is to keep those memories in both places – digital and print – because if you lose one, you always have the other…. and She can work her Magic either way.
